Miller & Smith Data Validates Market Demand For New Home Construction.

McLean, Virginia Miller & Smith, an award-winning homebuilder and real estate development company, today released 2012 data regarding the company’s increase in new home production and sales in 2012. The newly released data further validates the demand for new home construction in the Washington, DC region.

Miller and Smith’s recent successes were highlighted on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer and in The Washington Post. Year-end data includes the
following:

  • 23% increase in total homes sold equaling 372 homes sold in 2012 vs. 304 homes sold in 2011.
  • 3-7% increase in home prices in 2012 with home prices ranging from $260,000 and $600,000.
  • 8 communities opened in 2012 containing six different model homes
  • 35% of all sales transactions are attributed to three development projects in Brambleton, one of the Top 10 best selling
communities in the US.
