Miller & Smith And One Loudoun Recognized At The 2013 Naiop Awards For Master Plan

Best of NAIOP Northern Virginia Awards Winners

Tysons Corner, Virginia:

“Focus on Excellence” was the theme of the Best of NAIOP Northern Virginia Awards held Thursday, November 20, 2013 at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. The event was sold out with over seven hundred people in attendance as twenty-eight awards were presented in the following categories: Transactions, Interiors, Marketing, Buildings and Membership. The Awards Dinner was an opportunity to celebrate significant new contributions to Northern Virginia by the commercial, industrial and mixed-use real estate community.

Awards were given in the following categories:

Transactions:

Best Real Estate Transaction – Sale: Award of Excellence for Tysons Overlook, submitted by MRP Realty. Team members included: Rockpoint Group, LMI, Cassidy Turley and CBRE, Inc.

Best Real Estate Transaction – Lease: Award of Excellence for Tysons Tower (Intelsat) submitted by Macerich. Additional team member included CBRE, Inc.

Interiors:

Best Interiors, Building Common Area: Award of Merit for Rooftop Lounge at Metro Park VI submitted by Clarion Partners. Team members included The Evans Company, Lehman Smith McLeish, and HITT Contracting Inc.

Best Interiors, Building Common Area: Award of Excellence for 1320 North Courthouse submitted by MGMA. Team members included: MetLife, Avison Young, and HITT Contracting Inc.

Best Firm Marketing: Award of Merit for “The Line Campaign” submitted by Hickok Cole Architects.

Best Project Marketing: Award of Merit for Reston Station submitted by Comstock. Team members included: Jones Lang LaSalle; KLNB; Davis, Carter, Scott, Ltd.; Hickok Cole Architects; JAHN; and James G. Davis Construction Corporation.
